Carlos is a Managing Director of SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”) responsible for originations, deal execution, and portfolio management. Carlos joined SGCP in October 2019 and is based in the Atlanta office.

Prior to SGCP, Carlos was a Vice President at AloStar Capital Finance (“AloStar”), a division of Cadence Bank, N.A., where he structured, underwrote, closed, and managed direct and syndicated loans to lower middle market companies. Carlos’ transactions were primarily comprised of senior secured asset based revolving credit facilities and senior secured term loans.

Before AloStar, Carlos was a Senior Analyst at Chatham Capital, a lower middle market cash flow lender, where he underwrote, closed, and managed direct and syndicated first or second lien cash flow loans.

Prior to Chatham Capital, Carlos was a Senior Valuation Consultant at Adams Capital, Inc., an independent business and asset valuation firm. Carlos’ engagements included business valuations, purchase price allocations, and goodwill impairment testing.

Carlos began his career as a consultant at Manhattan Associates, Inc. (“Manhattan”), a publicly traded supply chain technology and consulting firm. At Manhattan, Carlos designed, tested, and implemented supply chain systems for small cap, large cap, and mega cap companies, as well as the United States government.

Carlos earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
