Clay Crosby is a seasoned finance professional specializing in credit underwriting, risk management, and asset-backed lending. Recently joining SG Credit Partners as an Associate Director in the Consumer ABL group, Clay brings a deep foundation in structured credit and portfolio management honed through progressive roles at Flexport Capital. There, he managed a $400M portfolio, led underwriting teams, and spearheaded initiatives in credit policy, default remediation, and financial product innovation.

His experience spans secured and unsecured lending, collections, and covenant negotiations—critical capabilities that align seamlessly with SG Credit Partners’ mission of providing tailored ABL solutions to consumer-focused businesses. With a Finance degree from Auburn University and a passion for private credit and operational excellence, Clay continues to drive value through strategic lending and disciplined credit practices.
