As a founding member of the Software and Technology lending group, Dan is responsible for deal execution, portfolio management, and originations. Dan joined SGCP in 2019 and has funded transactions across the full spectrum of the platform, including software, cash flow, asset-backed, and guarantor-based deals.

Prior to SGCP, Dan was an Analyst at American Business Bank, an LA based commercial bank that serves privately held, middle-market companies in Southern California. During his time with American Business Bank, Dan was responsible for credit analysis, deal structuring, and portfolio management for a variety of business and loan structures – including C&I, CRE, and equipment, among others.

Dan graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, San Bernardino, where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Dan is a CFA Charterholder.
